A native of Mobile, Alabama, Loretta came into the art jewelry world
through the squeaky back door. Loretta's degree in Chemical
Engineering from the University of Alabama gives her respect for
structure, design and the work process. Her openness to new ideas
allows her to embellish an eminently functional design with flair and
romance. In addition to her technical training in wire and beads,
Loretta has studied the timeless "lore of the stones" extensively and
works this into most of her studio work.
Loretta is a Level II Certified Artisan in Metal Clay. Her art jewelry,
heirloom rosaries and beaded gifts may be seen in Morton Street
Gallery, Mary Regina Catholic Store (Sugar Land) and J Loggins
Jewelers (Sugar Land).
