Brian received a B.B.A. from Texas State University in San Marcos,
Texas. After graduation, he began his career in the Marine industry,
transporting petroleum products throughout the continental US.
Early in the 1990's, Brian resumed his woodworking and malleable
metal art work. During this time he watched the rebirth of the
ancient art, kilnformed glass and knew he would soon join other
artists. Late in 2003, he began to study this new medium and by
January of 2004 was in his first class. He soon found himself drawn
to the unlimited possibilities in which glass can be used for artistic
expression. Each piece of fused glass captures the available light
and can reflect or absorb light, giving each piece a life of its own.
Black and white can be as vibrant as the colors of the rainbow in
kilnformed glass. After his first, Brian began to teach himself
through trial and error. His perseverance and love for the art has
granted him favor in the art world.
Brian makes his home in Sugar Land, Tx., along with his wife and
three children.
